Who Cares about the Environment?
Who Cares about the Environment? is social research that measures the environmental knowledge, attitudes and behaviour of the people of NSW through surveys and focus groups. Conducted every three years by the Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water NSW, this research has been tracking changes and trends in environmental views, priorities and actions since 1994.

Media consumers are bombarded by multiple climate change messages each day. Fix the leaky tap; take shorter showers; turn off the light; turn the air-conditioning down; use your car less; don't buy plastic - plastic is bad, very bad.
The question is: how many of these messages are getting through?
